Doors open promptly at 8:00 PM for guest concierge check-in, welcome craft mocktails, and communal table seating. Culinary tasting flights and acoustic sets commence at 8:30 PM, followed by parlor lounges and dessert service concluding at 12:30 AM.
Can I attend without reserving a dinner table?
Yes, absolutely! We offer general Social & Dance passes for guests who want to come specifically for the live music, dance floor, social games, and high-energy atmosphere without participating in the full seated dinner. Food and dessert items will also be available for à la carte purchase at on-site concession stations.
Are table reservations shareable or transferable?
No. Reservations and guest credentials are registered to individual patrons upon check-in to preserve dining capacity and table assignments. Credentials cannot be shared or transferred once redeemed.
What age is required to attend?
A Story Over Mac & Ribs is strictly a 21+ supper club. To ensure a sophisticated, mature social dining atmosphere, all patrons must present a valid, government-issued photo ID (Driver's License, State ID, or Passport) at check-in. Please note that this is an elevated alcohol-free culinary salon featuring botanical mocktails and artisan ciders.
Will there be water and beverage service?
Yes. Complimentary botanical-infused water stations are available inside the dining hall throughout the entire evening. Handcrafted mocktails, sodas, and artisanal ciders are also available at the beverage bar.
Can I bring in outside food or drinks?
No outside food or beverages are permitted. A Story Over Mac & Ribs is an immersive multi-course culinary dinner club. We ask that guests arrive with an appetite ready to experience our full tasting flight and beverage pairings around the communal table.
Is smoking or vaping allowed?
Absolutely not. Our dining hall is a 100% smoke-free and vape-free indoor environment. To preserve the subtle aromas of our culinary dishes and ensure clean air for all dining patrons, all smoking, vaping, and cannabis use is strictly prohibited.
Can we distribute promotional materials?
No outside solicitation, sampling, or promotional literature is permitted inside the club without prior written authorization from Imagine Universe management.
What is the dress code?
We embrace an Upscale Casual salon aesthetic. Think chic, stylish, and comfortable for an evening of gourmet dining, live music, and parlor games:
- Tasteful Attire: Please refrain from loungewear, gym wear, or exposed undergarments.
- Positive Atmosphere: Clothing featuring divisive political statements or controversial graphics is not permitted.
Are there accessible facilities?
Yes. Fully accessible, ADA-compliant restrooms are located inside the facility near the dining entrance. If you or someone in your party requires specialized table accommodation, our Concierge team is available at check-in to assist.
Are pets permitted?
In accordance with health and sanitation regulations for indoor dining clubs, only trained ADA service animals are permitted. Emotional support animals and pets are not permitted inside the dining hall.
What if I need assistance with my guest credential?
Your guest credential verifies your reservation, dining course access, and parlor seating. If your credential is lost or damaged during the evening, present your ID and booking confirmation to the Concierge Desk for assistance.
Are there Vegetarian, Vegan, or Gluten-Free accommodations?
Yes. While our signature offerings feature slow-smoked beef ribs and artisan cheeses, our culinary team prepares curated vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-friendly comfort alternatives. Please inform our culinary team upon table seating.
Is food and beverage included in my reservation?
Yes, your full gourmet tasting flight is included. Every reservation includes our signature Chef's Mac & Ribs Tasting Flight, a welcome botanical craft beverage, full access to acoustic salon sets, and parlor game lounges. Specialty desserts and extra à la carte tastings are available during late-evening lounge hours.
Is re-entry permitted?
Yes, same-evening re-entry is permitted as long as your official guest credential remains intact and is verified with the Concierge at the entrance.
What is the entry bag policy?
To ensure guest safety, small clutches, purses, and clear bags are welcome. Prohibited items include outside beverages, weapons, and unauthorized commercial audio/video recording equipment.
Will tickets be available for purchase at the door?
No. There are strictly zero door sales. All passes must be purchased during our advance pre-sale window, which closes on October 2nd. Once the pre-sale window closes, no additional tickets will be released. On site during the event, all food, beverage, and dessert concessions are 100% cashless, accepting major credit/debit cards, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Where do I park, and is Rideshare supported?
On-site parking is available for all patrons (Chef's Circle reservations include dedicated parking). A clearly designated Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) drop-off and pickup area is located directly at the club entrance.
What type of venue is this event held in?
This is a 100% indoor event held in a massive, climate-controlled community facility and gymnasium hall capable of hosting over 2,000 guests with room for open dance floors, stage production, and game lounges.
Is seating provided for every ticket holder?
Dedicated table seating is guaranteed for Dinner & Table Pass and VIP Pass holders. Social & Dance Pass holders have open access to the dance floor, social gaming areas, and standing cocktail tables, with casual perimeter seating available on a first-come, first-served basis.
What is the itinerary for the salon?
Doors and welcome drinks open at 8:00 PM. Communal Mac and Ribs tasting flight service runs from 8:30 PM to 10:30 PM alongside live acoustic sets. From 10:30 PM to 12:30 AM, guests enjoy dessert service, parlor games, and social lounge conversation.
